Moving Nutley Forward

Rooted in Nutley. Dedicated to Our Children.
Growing up in Nutley my family taught me one of my earliest and most important lessons, that education has the power to change lives for the better, and forever. That belief has guided me as a parent, a volunteer, a professional, and a community member committed to strengthening our schools.
My Educational & Professional Journey
I graduated Summa Cum Laude from Kean University, earned a Web Administration/Developer Certification from NJIT, and became a life member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society a recognition that reflects my lifelong dedication to learning.
Professionally, I work as an Implementation Consultant for Dun & Bradstreet, and I hold both Project Management Professional (PMP) and Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certifications. My husband, Mike, and I also proudly own the Nutley Wine Shop, giving us a firsthand understanding of the importance of strong schools, strong families, and a strong community.
Community Involvement
Supporting Nutley’s students has been one of the most meaningful parts of my life. I currently serve on the Nutley Board of Education as a trustee and have held several leadership roles, including Vice President, as well as serving on key committees such as Academic, Policy, and Long‑Term Planning.
I am also an active member of the Nutley Academic Booster Club (ABC), where I serve as Vice President and Chair of the Judging Committee for the annual science and history fairs. Beyond ABC, I’ve held board positions with the Nutley Crew Booster Association, participated in the Nutley Music Boosters, and been involved with both the Yantacaw and High School PTOs. I’ve also helped organize Project Graduation and volunteered as a teacher for the Curiosity Shop.
My family has embraced global learning through Academic Adventures in America and the AFS Intercultural Program. Over the years, we’ve welcomed students from across Europe into our home experiences that have enriched our lives and strengthened our belief in the power of cultural exchange and education.
